Position Reporting:
This position is part of Sunday Cool - Operations reporting to the Production Manager.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm [40 hours/week].
Overtime may be required based on workload and production demands. This position will be likely to have overtime or weekend work during the peak of busy season, running May-July.
Compensation:
Hourly position: $14-15/hour
Areas of Responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities would include setting up basic jobs, breaking down jobs after printing, and loading a variety of garments on auto to keep up with schedule requirements.
Experience with automatic screen printing on M&R and ROQ presses.
Understand basic press operation and press safety
Ability to trouble shoot the press
Ability to set up jobs at minimum 10 minutes per screen
In charge of breaking down jobs for screen printing
Ability to load garments 500 pieces per hour on auto to keep up with schedule requirements
Ability to multi-task
Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Quickly identifying and correcting quality control of printed apparel
Comfortable with water-based discharge ink
General maintenance and cleaning.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to stand for extended periods of time in a non-climate-controlled work area. The employee must be able to maneuver around printing equipment, narrow aisles, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Probationary Period & Termination
During the first 90 days we will be training you specifically for the above position. Before the conclusion of your probationary period, we will meet with you to review and determine if this is a long term fit for both parties. Sunday Cool, LLC reserves the right to terminate employment of any employee at any time without notice and without payment in lieu of notice, subject to the laws of the State of Florida.
Overtime & Payroll:
We pay biweekly (Every other week) on Fridays. Pay is based on eighty standard hours per pay period and Sunday Cool has 26 pay periods/year.
Drug Free Workplace:
Sunday Cool is a drug free workplace. The company reserves the right to conduct drug testing on all employees. In the event of a workplace accident the impacted employee will be required to be tested for drugs.
